ISM Article on Fuel Surcharges
The good folks at the Institute for Supply Management published an article of mine in their superbly done monthly magazine, Inside Supply Management. The article is a nice, quick read with some questions to ask your vendors that approach you with fuel surcharges. If you don't get it already, Supply Management magazine (published by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply in the UK), is an excellent magazine as well. In my opinion, it's the best magazine published by any professional purchasing/supply chain association. Each edition, which I think comes out every two weeks, has lots of great interviews, articles, book reviews, letters to the editor, etc.
I don't have any commercial interest in the magazine or CIPS, but I thought it was worth sharing with you based on your post in case you haven't discovered it yet.
